Bill Tao is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is advised by Professor Deepak Vasisht. He has a broad interest in any technically complicated and intellectually challenging problems in computer science. His current research projects focus on wireless sensing, networking and distributed systems. He is also interested in the intersection of computer science and other disciplines, such as bioengineering.
